Fear

Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 27:3 – ” Though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear, I am confident that God would save me”.

Prayer Point: Thank you, Lord for your precious Word. I put my trust in you at all times. Amen!

Birthdays are good for you.

Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most, live the longest.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 90:12 – “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”.

Prayer Point: Dear Lord, Thank you for your love, divine protection and provision over our lives. Amen.

No-One Is Useless

No-one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of anyone else.

Scripture Reading: Romans 15:1,2 – “Now we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not just please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.

Prayer Point: Dear Lord, Thank you for your love in helping me to do good, to those that surround me.

Money

Money is an excellent servant, but a terrible master.

Scripture Reading : 1 Tim 6:17 – ” Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment”.

Prayer Point : Thank you, Dear Lord for constantly reminding me to put my hope and trust in you at all times.

Daily Devotional

Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility.

Scripture Reading : Luke 12:48 – ” For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required, and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require and demand all the more”.

Prayer Point : Dear Lord, Help me to be faithful and accountable of my responsibility that has been entrusted to me. Amen.

Keep A Peaceful Tongue

Keep A Peaceful Tongue
Suppress the urge to discredit (slander or backbite) your former friends to others. Avoid the temptation to justify yourself. Your season will change every time you use your faith to bring peace. Keep a peaceful tongue, you will see the benefits in the future.
Scripture Reading: Psalm 15:1-3
“Who will dwell in the presence of the Lord? He that walks upright, works righteousness and speaks the truth from his heart. He does not backbite with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor.

Prayer Point: Dear Lord, I thank You for the Holy Spirit that can tame my tongue, to live at peace with all men. Amen.

Reprogramming your Thinking

*It is important to have an internal dialogue with yourself.
Thinking effects your behaviour!

*Programme your thinking to adjust your thinking according to the Word of God.

*Behavioural adjustments happen when your mind is aligned to the Word!

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]….Proverbs 23:7 AMP

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted
itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

*Many want to escape “divine diagnosis” – Godly
intervention.

*They don’t want to hear the truth because it hurts but it will set you free!

*Jesus meets the women at the well and looks internally, beyond the charming front she puts on! He sees exactly what’s going on in her thoughts! – she had defeated relationships with 5 men!

*She lived according to the sinful human nature and could not find satisfaction or peace!

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6

*If you don’t live according to the precepts of God’s Word, you will live according to human standards!

  • And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed
[as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly
values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the
will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and
    purpose for you].

Romans 12:2 AMP
