The Test Of Self – Interest

Gen 13:9 – “If you take the left, I will go to the right”.

1. Power is the ability to walk away from something you deserve – to protect something you love.

2. As soon as you begin to live a life of faith doors of fascinating prospects will open up before you.

3. These are your rights, but you can give up your rights and let God choose for you.

4. The proof of desire is pursuit.

5. God brings us to a place of test to see who’s interest you carry(what you respect you will attract).

Discipline of Desire

1. If you give up what you desire God will give you more than your dreams.

2. The discipline of desire is the background of character.

3. Desire is a strong passion – discipline is to control your passion.

4. Your character is the preview of your future.

Delight yourself in the Lord – Psalm 37:4

1. Abraham delighted himself in the Lord and captured God’s will.

2. Abraham denied his rights and privileges and he let God choose for him.

3. He gave God value and respect.

4. Abraham walked away from that open door – God gave him an inheritance.

5. Abraham did not allow the privileges of an open door to dictate his future.

Failure Waits For Permission

1. Failure cannot happen in your life without your permission.

2. Abraham was a champion,he became successful.

3. Success requires sacrifice, self – discipline and warfare.

4. You will never outgrow warfare, you must simply learn to fight.

5. God never forgets anyone who makes him feel good.

6. Prayer is one of the proofs that you truly respect God.

Wrong Relationships

1. Wrong relationships will weaken your assignment and your passion for God.

2. Abraham separated himself from Lot because of strife.

3. Strife is the clue that someone don’t belong.

4. Protect the gift of passion within you – Guard your focus.

Watch for Four Enemies Of Passion

1. Fatigue, Business, Over-Scheduling and Putting God Last on your Daily Schedules.

2. You will only have significant success with something that is an obsession.

3. An obsession is when something consumes your thought and your time.
